Trial Enrollment Period
All programs begin with a trial period of enrollment. This is to ensure that you have an opportunity to experience what your training will be like, and if it will be manageable with your job and/or family obligations. During the trial period you will review the school's policies, finalize financial aid requirements, meet staff members and current students, engage in classroom activities and interact with clients on the student salon floor.

The trial period will also be your chance to show staff members that you have the willingness and ability to successfully complete your training and gain employment in the cosmetology field. Staff members will be looking for good attendance (must maintain 85% or higher), participation in class activities, a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward the school and the training offered, and your ability to follow all the school's rules of conduct.

The trial period is the first two weeks of your program. The school will supply everything you need during the first two weeks of class.
Students who are re-entering do not have a trial enrollment period.

A $100.00 non-refundable application fee is required to begin enrollment. Financial aid cannot be disbursed until you have completed the trial enrollment period and been accepted by the school as a regular student. If you do not wish to continue with the training past the trial enrollment period, you will owe nothing further.

A two-week notice prior to your contracted start date is required to be able to apply your application fee to another enrollment date. If you begin, but do not successfully complete the trial period and wish to enroll at a later date, you will have to pay another $100.00 non-refundable application fee and repeat any hours already completed.
